How to eat: This ready to eat salad is an ITALIAn traditional mix of crispy salad leaves combined with the slightly bitter taste of radicchio, sugar loaf and curly endive and the sweet tasting julienne carrots whose cut enhances and emphasizes their crispness. It is an excellent meal solution and a delicious healthy alternative to simple salad with the addition of selected tasty vegetables.

Palinuro salad is packaged in bags and is an easy meal guaranteed by the quality and the experience of our farm. We traditional grow washed and ready to eat salad in our farm with methods that we have been using for over 120 years.

To guarantee the freshness and the quality of the produce, the product sorted, a quality check is preformed and the product is washed and packaged, promptly after the harvesting.

Fresh cut in the morning, washed and placed in MAP (Modified Air Packaging) and shipped the same day. Most bagged salads are much fresher than the whole head products you will find in a supermarket. Vegetables are grown in tunnels to give us better control over the environment. The product is safer, cleaner and softer than product grown outside.

INDICATION OF PRESERVATION

After the opening of the packaging, remove excess air, fold the bag and close it with a scotch tape or a rubber band and put it in the refrigerator. Once opened, it’s recommended to consume the product within 24 hours.
