Quality - Water

For over 100 years, we have irrigated our crops with pure, fresh mineral water drawn from an underground lake, deep below our property.

We know our water is safe because;

1. We test the all the pumps and a different point in our irrigation system each month for microbiologic contamination and every 6 months a full analysis.
2. Our drafting pipe is protected by metal and cement liners between the surface and the water source.
3. In excess of 80 meters of earth, sand, rock and semi impermeable volcanic rock separate the surface from the water. 
4. The drafting pipe is filtered at the outlet and draws water from the center of the water source.
5. Water used in food production including the vacuum cooler passes a UV filter.
6. Water for food processing is future purified with non chlorinated disinfectant.
7. Our water meets and exceeds USDA criteria for bottled mineral water!
