The small Italian village of “Civita di Bagno” located in the Aquila providence was struck by an earthquake April 29, 2009 and is still affected by the damage. Rago recently donated a 40 foot purpose built mobile personal sanitation unit to the citizens of the village. The unit has hot and cold water, toilets and private shower stalls for 20 persons. Rago has been providing fresh salads to local food shelters in the area on an ongoing basis since the earthquake.
